How to Use a Weight Watchers Points Calculator

Using a Weight Watchers points calculator can seem confusing, especially if you’re new to the program. Luckily, these calculators are designed to compute a Weight Watchers point value from the calorie, fat, and fiber content of different foods. All you need to do is read the nutritional label and input those values directly into your points calculator.

Instructions:

1. Locate the nutritional label on your food. On most food products this label is located on the back or side of the packaging.

2. Find the amount of calories per serving listed for the product and write it down on a piece of paper.

3. Find the amount of total fat in the product, per serving, listed in grams. Write this down next to the calories per serving.

4. Locate the amount of total grams of fiber in one serving. Record this on your paper next to the other values (calories and fat).

5. Input all three of these values into the Weight Watchers points calculator and press enter. The calculator will show the Weight Watchers points value for that food item.

Tips:

Remember that if you’re having more than one serving of the product you’ll need to multiply the calories, fat, and fiber by the amount of servings you’re having before you enter these values into the calculator.
